TP Group exhibits its Autonomy & Spatial Modelling capability at MATS
Visit us on Stand 33
TP Group is exhibiting its Autonomy & Spatial Modelling capability at the Marine Autonomy & Technology Showcase (MATS) which takes place at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton from 12th to 14th November.
MATS 2019 aims to explore the needs of Marine Autonomous Systems (MAS) users, reviewing the current technologies available for data gathering and future developments.
TP Group’s team will be showcasing their patent pending AntsOnDeck technology to visitors. AntsOnDeck is an optimised, risk aware path planning and rapid collision avoidance system for autonomous surface vehicles. This agent-based technology generates optimised routes against user defined constraints, taking into consideration vessel dynamics and performance, fuel efficiency, time, cost, wind, tide and current - as well as other environmental factors and mapped or un-mapped obstacles. The system is continuously updated automatically, in real-time, using on-board sensors and the vessel’s existing instruments. Current utilisation is within the marine sector, but future applications will cross domains into the land, air and space environments.
