James Norwood joins TP Group to lead Corporate Development

TP Group is pleased to announce the appointment of James Norwood as its new Corporate Development Director with immediate effect.

As part of the Group’s Executive Management Team, he will be responsible for developing new business with both existing and new clients, contributing to TPG’s overall strategy and increasing the range and reach of engineering and services offerings.


James comes to the Group from Babcock, Rosyth, where he was Director of Business Development, Proposals & Estimating since early 2016. In that role he was a Board member of Babcock Marine’s Rosyth manufacturing facility which employs more than 5,500 people and generates annual revenues of approximately £400 million.

Prior to Babcock, he held leadership positions with James Fisher & Sons Group plc and Raytheon. He served in the Royal Navy for six years becoming Fleet Navigation Officer before moving into the commercial domain. He has an MBA from Imperial College and a BSc in Maritime Business and Marine Law from Plymouth University.
