TP Group plc welcomed a visit to our Portsmouth facility from Rear Admiral Richard Stokes, 2* Commander for HM Naval Bases Clyde, Devonport and Portsmouth.

The Rear Admiral joined the TP Group Maritime team for breakfast and a tour of the site; which included our purpose built equipment test bay, and design and manufacturing facility.

Tim Davies, Head of Business Development, Foreign Sales & Marketing for the TP Group Maritime business commented: "We were delighted to welcome Rear Admiral Stokes, and show our contribution to fighting effectiveness of the Royal Navy’s Submarine fleet.  We are very grateful that he spared the time to visit us"

The Life Support Systems for the UK Royal Navy’s ‘Astute’ class boats is designed, developed, assembled and tested at the Portsmouth facility; where TP Group are currently refining the Combined Oxygen Generating System (COGS) for the UK’s future submarine programme.
